🟨 Who We Are
Japan Abduction Watch is a public watchdog project founded by victims of parental child abduction and their allies.
We aim to document and expose the hidden crisis of parental abduction involving Japanese citizens, both within Japan and internationally.
🟨 Our Mission
Our mission is to seek justice, transparency, and reform in response to systematic parental child abduction and institutional neglect.
Through court records, witness testimonies, and international advocacy, we work to:
- Expose Japan’s failure to protect children and uphold international treaties
- Highlight violations of human rights and legal ethics
- Demand legal accountability for abductors and enablers
- Promote legal reform to prevent future abductions
- Support families affected by these tragedies
🟨 Why It Matters
Parental child abduction is not just a “domestic matter.” It’s a human rights crisis that affects thousands of families worldwide.
Japan remains one of the few developed nations where abductors face little or no consequences — even when international treaties are violated.
We believe every child has the right to both parents. Silence enables injustice.
